Readily Accessible

Areas of a property or building that are promptly and safety made available for observation, maintenance activities and repair activities. 

Assets that are not readily accessible cannot be easily maintained and may be subject to neglect or assumptions may need to be made about their condition. 

Assets that are not readily accessible (but are accessible with equipment and resources) would include
  • Crawl spaces
  • Fall protection, such as swingstages
Assets that are inaccessible would include:
  • Buried Infrastructure
  • Secured Areas
