Event Probability Curve

A form of bell curve indicating the degree of probability of having to replace an asset at some point over its typical service life.  

  • The width of the curve indicates on the variability in life of the asset 
  • The peak of the curve indicates the critical year at which the probability of replacement is deemed to be highest.
