Escalation Rate
The rate of change in price for a particular good or service associated with an asset (as contrasted with the inflation rate, which is for all goods and services).

The escalation rate is one of the estimating parameters used in developing estimates and one of the primary assumptions in developing budgets.

Escalation is affected by the compounding rate, such as annual, bi-annual, etc.
