Direct Distress Metric
A failure, identified by a Triggering TbM activity, that impacts the critical component of the asset and will affect the timetable for “P” or “F”. For example: a blister in the membrane, if not fixed will result in leak (F). A direct-distress metric may arise from intrinsic or extrinsic factors.
