Units of Measure
A basic quantity of increment by which the size or value of an asset or component is counted. Units of measure are one of the estimating parameters.

Units of measure are expressed either n metric or imperial quantities.
For example:
Units of measure are derived from drawing takeoffs or field takeoffs.

The units of measure are multiplied by the quantity takeoff to derive the estimate.

Units of measure are typically used as part of a bottom-up estimating methodology.
