Order/Rank Replacement Policy
One of the different asset replacement policies. Also referred to as "rank replacement policy"

A policy in which assets are scheduled for replacement in a specific order based on the principles of:


Candidate Assets and Attributes:
Generally, this approach applies to assets that have the following attributes:
  • Asset with an upstream or downstream relationship to adjoining assets

  • Hallway Carpets
  • Hallway Painting


For example:
Listed below are some examples of order/rank replacement projects:
  • Hallway walls will be painted before new hallway carpets are installed. [Sequence of Operations].
  • The roof was replaced before we installed a new rooftop makeup air unit.
