Order
A formal directive, issued by an authority having jurisdiction, requiring the owners to make changes to an asset, typically in the interest of public safety.

For example:
  • An order to replace bottom type hydraulic elevator cylinders.
  • Removal/abatement of asbestos material 
  • Fire regulations requiring the replacement of dry sprinkler compressors that are older than 15 years.
