Multiple Straight Lines
One of a variety of impairment models used in impairment accounting to establish depreciation analysis. It provides a depreciation rate for use in an impairment study.

The term has two meanings in asset management:

1.  One of several methods of accounting for the depreciation of an asset.

2.  A form of deterioration model that is slightly more elegant than the straight line curve.
