Defensible

Any report, analysis or information that is based upon good solid data that has been derived from a sound, rigorous methodology.

Defensibility is of the key criteria to ensure that a report is meaningful and helpful to the owners.

If the physical analysis is "realistic" and the financial analysis is "defensible", then all stakeholder interests are served.

The financial analysis must be defensible in its estimation of costs.
